Hair/Eyes/Mouth: Black molded hair/black side-glancing eyes/open-closed mouth with painted teeth.
Clothes: White flannel Dodgers uniform with flannel belt, blue knit socks, black lace-up shoes (original); has replaced cap, baseball and bat.
Other: Dodgers is spelled out on the front of the uniform shirt. The number 42 in blue felt is applied to the back of the shirt (these are replaced letters and numbers). The doll originally had a catcher’s-mitt-shaped hag tag with “Allied Grand Doll Mfg. Co. Inc./Brooklyn 5 N.Y.” printed on the back. The front of the tag had a headshot of Jackie Robinson with his name written on the image of a baseball bat that bore his imprinted signature.
