MISSION ACCOMPLISHED: 1,000+ BLACK DOLLS CURATED

On January 17, 2021, DeeBeeGee’s Virtual Black Doll Museum began with a clear and ambitious mission: to curate and install 1,000 Black dolls representing the antique, vintage, modern, and one‑of‑a‑kind categories that define the richness of Black doll history.

I am proud to announce that this milestone was officially reached on June 29, 2026, with installations totalling 1,012.

This achievement reflects years of dedicated collecting, cataloging, research, and storytelling. Each doll added to the museum contributes to a broader cultural narrative—one that honors Black artistry, representation, and heritage across generations.

To every subscriber, supporter, and visitor: thank you. Your engagement and enthusiasm helped bring this vision to life.

Now that the founding mission has been fulfilled, the museum is entering an exciting new chapter. Paid subscribers can look forward to:

  • Continued access to the curated doll database
  • New subscription-only digital experiences designed to enhance exploration
  • Spotlight features on artists, collectors, and rare pieces
  • Special offerings that continue to grow the museum’s reach and impact

Thank you for being part of this journey. The mission is complete — but there is more in store.
