Hair, Eyes, Mouth: Black box braids rooted into a black painted scalp, ethnically correct facial features with large brown inset eyes and applied upper eyelashes, closed mouth with wine lip color

Clothes/Accessories: Ankara jumpsuit with cold shoulders and raspberry-colored Roman-style sandals; a hang tag has the doll’s brief bio on one side and the doll’s care instructions on the other. Also includes a certificate of authenticity signed by Ethel Rugba Alaka, President/CEO One Galaxy Toys Inc. and Alero Nwana, VP/Corporate Services One Galaxy Toys, Inc. Presented in a colorful box, illustrations of African women and children are on all sides. An image of a One Galaxy Toys doll group is on one side of the box.

Other: Izeh is from One Galaxy Toys Inc.’s Sweet Lola line and, as printed on the hang tag, Izeh “represents a girl from one of the oldest Kingdoms in the world – the Benin kingdom of Nigeria. Her full name is Izehiese which means ‘child of destiny!’”

The company “believes that young girls need to be celebrated and supported.” One Galaxy Toys Inc.’s “play dolls are designed to showcase the beauty and essence of African and African American culture through fashion and a variety of hairstyles… to be enjoyed by children of all races.”
