Height: 24 inches
Hair, Eyes, Mouth: Light-brown wispy wig, dark brown inset eyes with applied upper eyelashes and painted lower eyelashes, an open mouth with two sculpted lower teeth, and pale mauve lip color
Clothes/Accessories: Tyra wears a jersey-knit light-pink and dark-pink blouse with ruffled sleeves, a pink velour jumper decorated with embroidered animals, flowers, and squiggly lines on the front; printed pink knit pants, and a whimsical pink velour cap. Accessories include an 8-inch plush bear wearing a lavender felt hat, the doll’s photograph, a certificate of authenticity, and a hang tag.
Other: After making reproduction porcelain dolls in 1989, Australian doll artist Kaye Wiggs began sculpting dolls in the early 1990s. Made in a limited edition of 600, sculpted in porcelain, and sold through Masterpiece Gallery, Tyra was made before Wiggs began sculpting resin ball-jointed dolls in approximately 2004. This Tyra is #53 in the edition. A male doll, Tryee, uses the same head sculpt.
