Marks: (Head) ©1995; (stamped on the lower right buttocks) “Jasmine” 99700; (handwritten on the lower right buttocks) #141/500, and ROBERT / TONNER is incised underneath. Has a hang tag/certificate indicating this doll is #141 in a limited edition of 500.

Height: 19 inches

Hair, Eyes, Mouth: Rooted brunette hair styled in a sleek upswept tucked bun, brown-painted eyes with painted upper and lower eyelashes, closed mouth with deep red lip color

Clothes/Accessories:  Full-length gold silk halter gown lined with white fabric and embellished with tiny pearl trim at the neck, upper bodice, and hemline; matching white-satin-lined, V-shaped wrap; nude hose, gold silk fabric pumps, a multi-strand pearl bracelet, and pearl drop earrings, includes a display stand. Jasmine has manicured nails.

Other: Jasmine is from Robert Tonner’s original 1990s limited-edition American Models Collection of 19-inch dolls dressed in haute couture fashions. Jasmine is #141 in the edition. Other African American dolls in the collection include Shonda (1995), Carol (1996), Beverly Bride (1996), Colette Bride (1997), and Olivia (1998). Tonner later introduced 21- to 22-inch dolls in a different American Models Collection during the mid-2000s (follow the link below the gallery).
