Hair, Eyes, Mouth: Short black rooted hair with bangs, brown painted eyes, smiling mouth with painted teeth

Clothes: Patchwork-print shirt dress, white lace-trimmed apron, red high-heel open-toe shoes; came with an extra “super-star” dress (a full-length dress with a yellow halter bodice and gold lamé skirt)

Other: Stock number 1048, Shindana’s portrait doll of actress, Marla Gibbs in her role as Florence the maid on The Jefferson’s sit-com is featured on page 1 of the 1978 Shindana catalog. The Marla Gibbs doll is one of several late-1960s to 1970s Black celebrity portrait dolls by Shindana.
