Sydney 2000™
Olympic Pin Collector
Barbie

Hail to the Olympic Games… the spectacular arena for incredible athletics, global alliance, and a sense of fair play unmatched by any other sports event in the world today.

Barbie doll is honored to take part in the awesome spirit of the Sydney 2000™ Olympic Games by joining the countless number of Olympic pin collectors in the world.

NOC (Nat’l Olympic Committee) pins, more commonly known as Olympic pins, have been in vogue since the early part of the 1900’s. Originally, pins depicting national Olympic committees were given to the competing athletes by their home Olympic committees, and offered as tokens of good will and friendship to their fellow competitors. Today, that original intention still holds, but has expanded to include avid pin trading among the enthusiastic fans.

Barbie is ready for all the pin trading fun dressed in her casual blue pants, two-toned sneakers, and authentic replica of an official pin collector vest. Under her vest, which is aptly adorned with printed replicas of the Sydney 2000™ Olympic Games pins, she wears a white T-shirt imprinted with the Sydney 2000™ games logo. Her khaki hat and tote bag accented with the Sydney 2000™ Olympic Games logo add panache to her stylish Aussie look. Also included with each commemorative Sydney 2000™ Pin Collector Barbie doll is the one and only Sydney 2000™ Olympic Pin featuring Barbie. The Olympic Pin has been officially authorized by the Sydney Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games and has been exclusively developed to be included with this package.
