Marks: Bears the embossed turtle mark symbol (a turtle within a rhombus) on the back of the neck and the upper back with GERMANY/35 below both turtle mark symbols
Height: 16 inches
Hair, Eyes, Mouth: Textured and painted black hair, brown inset stationary glass eyes, broad nose and full lips that are painted red
Clothes: Redressed in a tribal costume made with an embroidered ribbon at the waist and neutral colored grosgrain ribbons to simulate a grass skirt; a beaded necklace and matching beaded anklet, and gold-tone hoop earrings complete the costume.
Other: Rheinische Gummi und Celluloid Fabrik Company was founded in 1873. Also known as RGCF or Turtle Mark dolls, the company later became known as the Schildkröt Company.
