Height: 20 inches

Hair, Eyes, Mouth: Painted black hair, painted brown eyes and eyebrows, smiling mouth that reveals two upper teeth

Clothes: Darnell wears a dark orange wool cap with an off-white knit shirt underneath a striped navy blue, white, and orange long-sleeved knit shirt and tan overalls with patched knees. Accessories are a fishing rod made of a thorny branch and string and a silver resin fish attached to the end of the string.

Other: Made of wood resin from an original whittled doll, this doll is number 77 in an edition of 250 dolls. Based on the personalized signature on the doll’s back, someone named Roberta was the original owner.

Darnell was a 1992 nominee for DOLLS Award of Excellence in the “all other media” category.
