Material: Vinyl, Made to Move Petite body

Height: 11-1/2 inches

Hair/Eyes/Mouth: Black curly textured hair/brown painted eyes and eyelashes/smiling mouth with painted teeth

Clothes: Yara Shahidi Barbie wears a gray tweed-ish pants suit, white tee with VOTE printed on the front, and white high-top sneakers. Includes a black backpack with an attached “I Voted” sticker. A 2020 ballot is held in the doll’s right hand.

Other: Released just prior to the 2020 US presidential election, Yara Shahidi Barbie is sculpted to the likeness of the young actress, model, and activist. From the back of the box Shahidi is described as, “using her exuberant voice to inspire change. Passionate about empowering her peers, Yara has used her stage to launch We Vote Next, which strives to help new voters learn about the impact of using their voice and their vote to shape the future. Yara Shahidi is honored as a Barbie “Shero,” a woman who has broken boundaries to inspire the next generation.” From the Barbie Signature Collection, no more than 20,000 dolls were released worldwide.
