Name:  Alexa and Imani Fashion Dolls

Made by and When:  Malaville Toys, circa 2017/2018

Material:  Vinyl

Height: 11-1/2 inches

Hair, Eyes, Mouth: Alexa has a blonde rooted Afro, painted dark eyes, and a closed mouth with pink lip color. Imani has a dark brown rooted Afro, brown painted eyes, and a closed mouth with dark lip color. Both dolls have painted upper and lower eyelashes.

Clothes: Alexa wears a pink hoodie with the letter A on the front, light blue denim Capris with rolled cuffs, and white sneakers. Accessories include art supplies of canvas, brushes, paints, and an artist’s apron. Imani wears a green madras plaid off-the-shoulder dress with white T-strap high heels.  Her extra fashion is a white off-the-shoulder blouse with a ruffled top and a green madras plaid full skirt. 

Other: Designed in South Africa by Mala O’Bryan, Alexa has the lightest complexion available for this line of 11-1/2-inch fashion dolls and was marketed as the first 11-1/2-inch doll with albinism.  Imani has the deepest complexion of the Malaville dolls. Each Malaville Toys fashion doll has an interest or occupation. Alexa is an artist. Imani is the editor of Malaville Magazine and a journalist for the Malaville Journal. Several other dolls were included in this line.
