Head Sculpt: Uses the original Teresa or Hispanic head sculpt

Height: 11-1/2 inches

Hair, Eyes, Mouth: Light brown mid-back-length hair with curly ends, brown painted eyes with painted upper and lower eyelashes, closed mouth with coral lip color

Clothes: Gold and beige checkerboard patterned one-piece swimsuit with side cutouts; accessories include three pairs of different colored sunglasses and a reversible tote that opens to a beach towel

Other: Sun Gold Malibu Barbie, stock #7745, has the copyright year of 1983. The doll was probably released to the market in 1984.  Sun Gold Malibu Barbie is featured on the back of the box with other Sun Gold Malibu dolls— P.J., Skipper, and Black Ken (with molded hair). The African American Sun Gold doll and the Hispanic doll have different complexions, but the head sculpts are the same.
