Name: 1950s Ballerina

Made by and When: Valentine Dolls, Inc., circa 1955

Material: Soft vinyl face, hard plastic body with articulation at the head, upper arms, upper legs, knees, and ankles

Marks: (Head) 7VW

Height: 18 inches

Hair, Eyes, Mouth: Black rooted saran hair styled in a ponytail with bangs, brown sleep eyes with bristle upper eyelashes and painted lower eyelashes, closed mouth

Clothes: Silver satin tutu with silver mesh overskirt that is embellished with dots of silver glitter. The bodice has silver rickrack shoulder straps and is trimmed with silver brocade. Silver satin undies, nude stockings, and pink vinyl Capezio-style ballerina slippers complete her costume.
