Made by and When: Ulrike Hutt for Gotz for United Federation of Doll Clubs

Material: Vinyl

Marks: Artist’s incised mark that looks like a U above an H (on the back); #397/500/2002 (handwritten on the lower back); the dress is tagged Gotz.

Height: 10 inches

Hair, Eyes, Mouth: Sculpted brown cornrows, brown painted eyes, closed mouth

Clothes: Off-white dress with red-flower print, off-white underwear; white molded-on socks, red molded-on shoes, and white faux pearl earrings and necklace; holds a handkerchief; a red ribbon and an off-white flower are attached to the hair.

Other: Eliza, Eri, and Laurie were made exclusively for UFDC for their 2003 convention in New Orleans, Louisiana. The UFDC “Best Friends” luncheon attendees received Laurie as their favor. Eliza and Eri were sold as companions. Made in Germany, Eliza has a Gotz wrist tag, numbered certificate of authenticity, and a doll stand base with peg that inserts into the bottom of the doll’s right shoe.
