Hair, Eyes, Mouth: Long black rooted straight hair with spiral curled ends; brown painted eyes with painted upper and lower eyelashes, and blue eyeshadow; has an open smile with pale pink lips

Clothes: The doll wears a full-length ballgown with patchwork over pink tulle, featuring Barbie artwork on the skirt that depicts images of Barbie from 1959 to 2009. Wears pearl stud earrings and pink sandals; the package includes a doll stand and a certificate of authenticity.

Other: Part of Barbie’s 50th Anniversary Celebration, this doll pays homage to 50 years of Barbie’s “trends and fashions, couture and dreams,” with only one image of the first Black Barbie relegated to the lower right side, extending to the back of the dress, which, unfortunately, is not readily visible; see the 5th and 7th gallery photos.
