Hair, Eyes, Mouth: Dark brown short spiked hair, brown-painted eyes with rooted upper eyelashes, slightly parted lips with maroon lip color

Clothes/Accessories: The ensemble features a purple jumpsuit with a boldly striped silk wrap. Accessories include a yellow wide-brimmed hat with black trim, a yellow shoulder bag, gold-rimmed eyeglasses, black shoes, and a cell phone. A doll stand, a certificate of authenticity, and a reply card are included.

Other: Designed by Kitty Black Perkins, Uptown Chic is the second doll in the Fashion Savvy Collection, a series of dolls that “highlights the unique style and sophistication of today’s African-American woman,” as described on the back of the box. The back of the box continues, “She’s got flair… she’s aware… and she dares to stand out!” Confident, glamorous, exciting… the African-American woman of the 90’s has spirit that goes for the bold and keeps on winning!”
