Hang tag: The front of the dark-pink paper hang tag has the artist’s signature and “a Kathy Hippensteel Original” written at the bottom. The artist’s signature is on the inside above #162. “A vinyl numbered Edition of an original doll designed by Kathy Hippensteel, manufactured by T.M.J.” is on the lower inside. On the back of the hang tag, the artist’s signature is above, “This is not a toy intended for small children.” Truly / Many / Joys, Inc. and the company’s address are also on the back of the hang tag. A plastic black-and-gold rectangular TMJ, Inc. tag on a gold string is attached to the paper hang tag.
Height: 19 inches
Hair, Eyes, Mouth: Short black curly wig, brown inset glass-like acrylic eyes with applied upper eyelashes, closed mouth with the lower lip underneath the upper lip in a “biting the lip” gesture; burgundy lip color
Clothes: Wears a burgundy romper with a white collar, white-trimmed sleeves, and a white embroidery center design around two horizontal white buttons; white knit socks, and white lace-up baby shoes; Henry is missing his natural-colored straw hat.
Other: Distributed by Truly Many Joys for Kathy Hippensteel, Henry was new for 1991 and described as a 19-inch pellet-filled, Black baby with a posable body.
