Material: Vinyl, mohair, paint

Marks: The artist’s signature is incised in the head.

Height: 8 inches

Hair, Eyes, Mouth: Bee has a dark brown curly mohair wig has several individual plaits adorned with yellow ribbons. Bee’s eyes are painted brown. The mouth is closed with pale rose lip color and an outlined upper lip.

Clothes: Wears a lavender and purple trimmed cotton dress with fabric daisy-covered snaps and lavender panties, white knee socks, black patent-leather shoes, and holds a bumblebee-shaped shoulder bag.

Other: Part of a numbered limited edition #51/100, Bee is one of the souvenir dolls for the Southern Maryland Doll Club’s May 2007 “Garden Tea Party with Berdine Luncheon.”  The other luncheon souvenir doll, Bug, is Caucasian. Bee has a certificate of authenticity.
