Hair, Eyes, Mouth: Very soft brown wig of mohair with auburn highlights, brown painted eyes, closed mouth with rose lip color
Clothes: Brown hand-sewn striped cotton blouse with tiny black beads as buttons, a full-length skirt made of the same fabric, a black string necktie, tea-stained cotton pantalettes, bare feet
Other: A charming, handmade, one-of-a-kind polymer clay doll by Pennsylvania folk artist Shari Lutz of Lancaster, PA, is finely made and painted in the artist’s best folk art style, designed to represent a 19th-century Black woman. Lutz is also known for making cloth doll patterns and reproduction dolls in the Izannah Walker style.
