Hair, Eyes, Mouth: The rooted dark brown coily-textured hair is pulled back into a huge bun. The brown painted eyes are enhanced with smoky eyeshadow and black eyeliner. A beauty mark is on the left side of the face, and the closed mouth has rose lip color.
Clothes/Accessories: Mattel’s description indicates this doll wears a taffeta off-shoulder cocktail dress adorned with statement bows, shimmering rhinestone buttons, and layers of black ruffled organza. Sparkling earrings, a choker necklace, opera-length black gloves, black hose, and black high-heeled shoes with bow accents in the back add the perfect touch of bling, drama, and elegance to this doll’s breathtaking look. The doll is beautifully illustrated on the box cover and includes a certificate of authenticity, as well as a doll stand.
Other: Designed for adult Barbie collectors, this members-only doll required a Mattel Creations Club membership to purchase. It is the first African American Silkstone with this complexion and hair texture combination.
