Name: I.T.B.E. Luscious

Made by and When: Integrity Toys, 2010

Material: Vinyl, synthetic hair, paint

Marks: (Head) ©2009 / JWu By IT

Height:  12 inches

Hair, Eyes, Mouth: Curly-textured black hair originally styled in an upswept ponytail is now worn loose, brown painted eyes with white and mauve eye shadow and painted upper and lower eyelashes, dusty-rose-colored parted lips.

Clothes: Wears a white fitted sateen dress with dramatically pointed sleeves at the shoulders, belted at the waist with a white faux snakeskin belt; off-white shoes with red bottoms, white undies, gold tone cuff bracelet (earrings added by the curator); came with a white doll stand with a square base

Other: Luscious is from Integrity Toys’ Roma 2010 I.T.B.E. (Integrity Toys Basic Edition) collection, designed by Jason Wu. The doll has the usual five points of articulation with extra articulation underneath the breasts and click-bend knees. Produced in a limited edition of 1000 dolls, the collection of five I.T.B.E. dolls was introduced as travelers to Rome as follows: Please meet five new, dynamic “BFFs” who have migrated to this fashion mecca to live la vita bella and can’t wait to take flight into your own personal collection. Their savoir flair and spunky attitudes have heads turning everywhere they go! And it seems they have many friends around the globe who can’t wait to meet you as well… Her [Luscious’] fashionable up-do and lovely white dress contrast perfectly against her tawny coloring that is as rich as the handsome men she casts under her spell. Will you be able to resist her charms? Her friends know that when she sets her sights on you, it’s “impossibile”!
