Clothes: Sleeveless black dress has a pink/white/black plaid skirt, pink jacket with black faux fur trim at sleeves, black rickrack trim; gold chain belt, black tights, black faux leather ankle strap shoes; has Effanbee Durable Dolls heart-shaped wrist tag; and a gold, heart-shaped, paper wrist tag that reads, “I AM AN Effanbee Doll.”
Other: In the mid-2000s, Robert Tonner/Tonner Doll Company acquired the Effanbee doll company and released a line of high-end play dolls. Mrs. Willowby’s First Grade Class series is from Tonner’s Effanbee play-doll line. Released in 2008, Libbie is the only Black doll in the series. In the gallery photos, Libbie wears two different separately-sold fashions. The Christmas Pretty 2006 fashion was released in a limited edition of 300, which included a pom-pom ponytail holder. Libbie wears this on the wrist. The Little Fashionista corduroy pants fashion was released in 2007 in a limited edition of 200.
