Material: Rigid vinyl body and legs, soft-vinyl head, neck, and arms

Height: 40 inches

Hair, Eyes, Mouth: Long black-rooted, straight hair; brown painted eyes with blue and brown eye shadow, closed mouth

Clothes: White tank top, red vinyl jacket, blue denim bell-bottom jeans with side splits in the bell area, blue denim cap, silver choker necklace, white vinyl shoulder bag, black thick-soled shoes; an extra pink princess-style dress was included.

Other: Made in Spain and sold through an early 2000s J. C. Penney catalog, this doll’s legs move in a walking motion when guided.

Based in Biar, Alicante (Spain), Jesmar was established in 1946. The name, Jesmar, is an acronym of the husband-and-wife founders’ names, Jesús Juan and María Pérez. The company was dedicated to the manufacture and distribution of toys and usually included brown-skinned dolls in their product lines. Jesmar officially dissolved its business in 2005.
