Material:  Vinyl head, hands, and feet; pellet-stuffed-cloth body, upper arms, and legs

Marks: (Incised in the head) 081595 / ©Lee Middleton 1996 / (Fish Symbol) USA / (hand signed and numbered) Lee Middleton 314/2000 (A warning against copying the doll is incised above the doll’s head marks.)

Height:  20

Hair, Eyes, Mouth:  Dark brown, wispy wig; brown stationary eyes with applied upper eyelashes, painted eyebrows, open mouth to accommodate a pacifier

Clothes:  Ekay-knits-tagged yellow sweater-knit top, pants with enclosed feet, and bonnet; wears a disposable diaper.

Other: Little Love “My Own Baby” dolls (boys, girls, with open or closed eyes) were sculpted by Lee Middleton. Released approximately a year before Lee Middleton’s death, a pacifier, a hangtag, a certificate of authenticity, and a small Bible were included with this open-eyed version. A photo of the back of the hang tag text is in the gallery.

Lee Middleton Original Dolls were precursors to today’s more realistic reborn dolls.
