Material: Artist vinyl heads, arms, and legs; stuffed cloth bodies

Height:  17 inches

Hair, Eyes, Mouth:  Black rooted short curly Afro-style hair, brown stationary eyes with applied eyelashes, open smiling mouths with sculpted tongues and four upper teeth

Clothes:  Both have bare feet and wear all original clothing as illustrated in the gallery photos.

Other: Made in Spain, these dolls have authentic facial sculpts that represent brown-skinned children. The Dolls and Dolls website indicates, “The Mariquita Pérez brand began selling Mariquita Pérez dolls in the 40s, in Spain…” They are “classic Spanish dolls of great quality” designed for collectors and children old enough to appreciate their quality. The Diversal.es website describes this brand as, “the quintessential Spanish doll… considered the best doll made in Spain. Its high quality and the richness of its details make it a benchmark within the sector.”
