Hair, Eyes, Mouth: Dark brown natural-textured, floppy wig; brown glass inset eyes with applied upper eyelashes and painted lower eyelashes, closed mouth

Clothes: White antique baby dress, white pantaloons, white cloth headband tied in a top bow, bare feet

Other: A handwritten short story on the doll’s back reads, I am hungry. I want to go home. Goldie Wilson is a renowned doll artist whose dollmaking began in 1990 through reproduction doll making, which led to creating her own sculpts of authentic doll representations of Black people (Goldie Wilson). The artist works chiefly in porcelain and also in cloth.
