Other: As the wife of the first African American President of the United States, Michelle Obama was the first African American First Lady of the United States from 2009 through January 2017. Other 16-inch porcelain and vinyl portrait dolls of former First Lady Michelle Obama were made by different companies (e.g. Ashton Drake and Danbury Mint). This version seemed to be more desirable to discriminating collectors. A personalized doll stand and certificate of authenticity were included.
“We should always have three friends in our lives-one who walks ahead who we look up to and follow; one who walks beside us, who is with us every step of our journey; and then, one who we reach back for and bring along after we’ve cleared the way.”
